Mailing List Guidelines

The NAPNAP mailing list can be released for a one-time use for purposes that help fulfill NAPNAP's mission, including and usually limited to the distribution of materials for:

  • continuing education programs (that do not conflict with NAPNAP continuing education programs)
  • noncompeting pediatric health care educational materials (textbooks, journal subscriptions, other related media)
  • employment recruitment (Specific position/job listing required)
  • request for member research participation
  • nursing related travel/scholarship opportunities
  • informational/educational health related literature from partner organizations and child advocacy groups

All NAPNAP mailing list rentals are for one-time use only and lists may not be copied or reused in any manner.

Individual NAPNAP Chapters and Special Interest Groups (SIGs) may use their member mailing lists for approved chapter or SIG related mailings.

NAPNAP Sustaining Members may use the member mailing list for product information and advertisement up to three times per year.

Exhibitors at NAPNAP's Annual Conference may rent the conference attendee mailing list for a set fee established annually by NAPNAP. NAPNAP's Director of Practice, Education and Research administers an abbreviated approval and contract process for exhibitors. Mailings for exhibitors must be conference related and are time limited to three months before the conference and one month after the conference.

The mailing list can be sent via regular mail in the format of pressure sensitive labels (20 labels per page) or computer disk (Text file or ASCII).

The NAPNAP mailing list is available as an entire membership list or by specific states. The NAPNAP mailing list can be sorted to include (or eliminate) specific categories based on a query of the database using information obtained from the NAPNAP membership application.

Individuals who are interested in renting a mailing list of NAPNAP members must provide the following information:

  1. A copy of the document(s) that will be mailed to the NAPNAP members and a completed order form (includes the name, address, phone and fax numbers of the person who requested the mailing list, the purpose for which the mailing list will be used, the requested label format, the requested sorts for the list, and any specific instructions or pertinent information that is needed. If the final version of the document(s) is not available at the time of the request for the mailing list, a sample or mock-up may be sent in place of the final copy. Click here for a Geographic Distribution of NAPNAP's Membership.
  2. If the request to use the mailing list is approved, the list renter must execute a License Agreement. Upon receipt of the signed License Agreement (via mail or facsimile) the National Office will begin processing the request and will send the list and invoice for payment within seven to ten business days.
  3. Requests from the NAPNAP Chapters and SIGs are handled in an expedited manner.
    1. A NAPNAP Chapter/SIG Mailing List Agreement is signed annually by the chapter president (or designee) and the SIG Chair (or designee)
    2. Regular mailing pieces must be faxed/e-mailed or mailed to the N.O. for approval.
    3. Approval is granted within five business days of receipt.
    4. Mailing list (labels or file) are then forwarded to the requester.

NAPNAP MEMBERSHIP LIST RENTAL PRICE LIST

Each request is allowed a maximum of three selection or sort criteria. Additional sorts are at $50.00 per sort.

In addition to a $100 computer set-up fee, the following rates apply to all mail order requests.

Minimum order is for 1,000 names. Orders for names over 1,000 are charged in prorated increments of 100 (rounded up to nearest hundredth).
